If its a special occasion and not just a convenient bed for the night then go for something that actually looks nice imo.
It’s more of a memory building thing than anything else, in my humble opinion anyways 
These days, being out of the house is an occasion for me 
4+ years ago when I was walking, I’d have driven there and back the same day. But I don’t think I’d risk that at the moment.
The hand controls that I had fitted 4 months ago are great, but not really suited for longer stretches behind the wheel.
Anyways, time for me to get ready for a physio session.

Wouldn’t cruise control on your car help with distance driving?
It’s the first thing I switch on and it has been so so useful. We’re onto the A38 to go anywhere, so I set it straight to 75mph and leave it there.
It’s that fancy one that adjusts to the car in front, so at lower limits I just follow the car in front (if there is one).
I struggle with not having any space to move my right leg. It’s jammed between the door and the hand control. And there is a box over the pedals so that I don’t inadvertently get my feet jammed, reducing the space even more.
I’ll show you next time I see you. It is a very good set up, and I wish I had had it done when I first had the car.

I nearly ran over what looked like a barn owl sat exactly in the middle of the road. Turned around and spent some time looking for it but nothing to be seen. I’ld put the m30 up to check but that would probably annoy the snoozing farmers.
