An experiment, not weighed as battery is dead in the scales, the hood isn’t affecting the gimbal calibration startup.
Lens flare in bright sun is a pain with naked ND filters.
These will be tweaked if they are too heavy, the printer returned a 1.07g on the heavier one.
The heavier one looks better suited to the task.
The lighter one has big enough gaps around it to still suffer with lens flare
Agree, serves to see how much weight I can shed too. I’ll be testing sometime today.
In to the sun with the heavier hood UV glass which always throws glare, I’ll post video later…D-log screen capture, and no added output LUT
Just off the printer, redesigned to shed weight to 0.91g printer estimate, will see as soon as I get a battery for the scales….
Most of the filament used to bring to fruition this design…
Forgot the time it took… :
There’s a potential market for these Lance, you could recover those losses by flogging them for a few quid on eBay
Wait, he’s not shared the file yet
Working on it Rich…
I’d have one
Nor will he, if he’s got any sense
I’m thinking of printing it in black ABS or ASA which I don’t have at the moment, I’ll DM you once I’m ready.
Weighed and has passed QA….
Just realised I need to weigh it with VND filter on which is heavier…
Rid of bird scaring sticker and we’re back in business…
Too late to edit, so deleting the post. You get the idea anyway!
Please let me know when you’ve got some to sell!
