Night all, got to rest now. old age and all that.
Before I go I googled the address of this Mobile Repair shop look at the 2 screenshot and look at the result I got when I clicked on the web site link
As everyone said there are fucking great alarm bells ringing. I recently had batteries replaced under warranty. They came from the Netherlands via UPS. This is more dodgey than Del Boy and his Peckham spring water.
Found this on trust pilot.
All the reviews seem to be about DJI Birmingham store though and the website lists the Birmingham address.
T&C’s refer to Cellcom Ltd.
Domain registered 3 months ago.
It’s all a bit of a mess.
Send it back to Amazon.
I am currenty chatting live with one of the support assistance at Dji
Waiting to get their response.
The case I am arguing is that on their approval for the service repair it says the address I should send it to it’s in facts in the Netherlands
And this is the final bit. I have no options it seems I am compelled to use that dodgy in-between outlet
Finger crossed it all goes well if not I have a copy of this convo log to sue them in need be.
DJI don’t repair the mini-series of drones
You will get a new one 100%
It looks like they may be using a repair centre in the UK now that is linked to the high street shop in Birmingham
Sparkyws, it appears so, I mean what would you do in my case I told them I wanted to send it to the Netherlands and they insisted I should stick to plan A
ffsake I am getting dizzy with worries.
Go to the controller, make sure its connected to your wifi
start up the fly app
goto profile, service and support, more services
then go to My Service Portal
Is your case in the processing section?
Oh well ladies and gents, I will follow these instructions and send the drone / controller and battery as requested to these people. I will let you know how it goes one way or the other.
But consider this an eye opener for all of you. Things are getting messy.
yes mate, did that yesterday and I showed a screenshot to prove it. Yup we did check that, thanks for the suggestion though.
Living in the North East I have always used Heliguy in North Shields for purchases and warranty issues and have always been impressed with their service. They are Drone specialists offering an in-house DJI-approved UK drone repair centre. I would give them a try
Then it is legit
Mate, it’s a brand new 2 months drone under warranty I can’t send it to any repair shop at my costs. It’s covered by a 12 months free from user inflicted defect warranty.
looks that way.
besides Mr. ColinE I am not allowed to send it to any other repair shop other than the one that Dji instructed me in their email and with the pre - printed label that they sent me with the case number on it, it is not my choice to do so, even though I would love to follow your kind advise I am simply not allowed to.
