so as an authorised DJI Repair Centre they appear to honour warranties. They have swapped out faulty batteries [Mini 3 Pro] for me that were still under warranty.

Yes, I saw it.
They said that for matters such as these Dji sells through Amazon and they are responsible for repairs / warranty issues and to contact them directly. Amazon is not involved
Shame that the new repair centre was so lambasted, people should have waited before knocking them, what if they are a member on here?
I had already heard that a UK service centre was in the offing when I sent my Air 3 for repair to Holland, just never knew exactly where it was going to be
Shame they didn’t set up something that presents itself better than a dodgy mobile phone repair shop that sells ecigs to handle a client like DJI.
What did they think would happen? 
I’d still be taking this route where possible Francesco mate, maybe Amazon just need pushing harder?
Imagine how I felt when everyone here told me this whole thing smelled fishy, I sh@t myself, but you need to appreciate also the concern of this community and their goodwill was ignited towards what looked like a dodgy vape shop, and we all know a little or no knowledge is a dangerous thing.
But I guess now we all know a little better and Dji online support said it’s kosher so there’s not option but to go for what they said.

Maybe that was DJI’s doing, wanting to start UK repairs on the QT, who knows, I appreciate it all looked dodgy and checking was the right thing to do, but what if the owner of that repair centre is a member on here?
There was time to check as the OP hadn’t actually sent his Mini 3 off yet, there was something on DJI’s news story page the other week saying they were opening a UK repair centre

No I agree 100% it looked dodgy, I just worried about some of the responses that had hung drawn and quartered the repair centre before DJI could verify them, you have done the right thing questioning it, and we could have really piled on the so called e-cig shop if it was found to be a scam
Exactly no one has offended anyone with criminal slander I don’t think.
I have spent 17 minutes on the phone and I told everyone already that Amazon won’t intervene with replacement or repair of Dji as they are their own outlet and not part of the Amazon partner system
That would have been the quickest way, get Amazon to replace it all, even after the 30 days
