As Chris has said, don’t feel like you need to ask permission (at Broadway Tower or anywhere else).

Have a look on Drone Scene, if there are no restrictions shown, then if it was me I’d go there and fly. I tend to try to go to places like that early, so you are likely to be on your own.

On the point about bylaws, these are often so out of date that they are meaningless, and are likely to be unenforceable. Again, getting out early is the best idea …. Who is likely to be around to report you (assuming they know there are bylaws you are contravening and who to report you to)?

My rule of thumb, if there are no flight restrictions, then give it a go … if anyone complains, decide what to do then

I was very anxious when I started flying a couple of years ago, but have not had a negative interaction from anyone so far.

Enjoy it, and welcome

This

I took a look at the Wychavon District Council website

Where they state

  • Use of drones to fly over any Wychavon District Council land is not permitted

Well unfortunaley Mr District Council, thats just bollocks, you don’t control the airspace
