Skyzone 04x? I would have got them except I couldn’t get them in this country.

Was watching this guys “how to fly fpv” series last night.
He’s pretty good. Will have a watch - thank you !

So skyzone 02c’s look like the ones I’m going for.

Is this a good deal?

Don’t buy until you can try out Karl’s goggles first Howard :+1:t2:
I don’t know what the difference is but I found these sky02x goggles for £200 ship from UK

I’ve got these, pretty good, nice build quality etc…
I do have a problem with the IPD’s cant get them wide enough to see the whole frame with 4 square corners.
Suggest you wear a pair for a few minutes before commiting your money
Cheers

Thanks Steve. I think I’ll hold on but these are the top of the shortlist so far.
Definitely need to get a few tried out

Just had a Google and apparently the sky02x is the same as the sky02c except the x has an added camera built in so you can view around you without having to take the goggles off

Just had a look at those too. Cool feature but is it worth the extra £30?

That ebay link above :point_up:t2: has a set for same price, £200, says ‘New’ but not sure what the score with warranty would be on that?

Didn’t see this link. Thank you.

Keep trying to stop myself from pressing buy on these.
I think for the extra £30 it’s probably worth getting them from a reputable business

I would agree too. Maybe check with Karl @notveryprettyboy to see if the camera is worth the extra? Seems like a good feature not having to keep taking the goggles off to change batteries etc but could be a gimmick?

Certainly will.

I’ll fire a message over now

No!!!

I have a set of Flysight SPX02’s that have a front mounted camera. In the world of cameras it’s a potato.

Settles that then. Thanks @Nidge

I use it occasionally but a bit of a gimmick
Not worth £30

Just reading that not all goggles come with batteries.

So for example if I were to buy the skyzone sky02c what batteries would i need to get?

Any LiPo sized 2S to 6S at about 2200mAh for a days flying
Most people used ‘tired’ quad batteries :+1:

A neater solution is to buy the FatShark battery box, If clips/fits onto your goggles strap, takes two 18650 cells (available from many places including your local vape shop)

Thanks @Steviegeek i’ve see various lipos used on videos and wasn’t sure.

This looks like a nice simple solution
