Hello,

Just joined and this looks a fantastic resource and friendly group. I fly a Mavic 2 Pro, Mini 3 Pro and Mavic 3 (yet to fly it even though I have had it a week!).

Enrolled in a course to get my GVC with a view to making a career out of this currently hobby.

Have you seen our members map? (Click the burger-menu in the top right) You may find some pilots living near you. Feel free to add yourself to the members map too :+1:t2:

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the #questions-and-answers category.

Thank you for the warm welcome! Yes, like all of us here, love drone flying but have been a little bit disillusioned recently with what seems ever fewer places to use a drone. The map is amazing though and hugely helpful. Wrote to the CAA this week to ask them to try to expedite the C1 certification for the M3 … who knows when that will happen here! One question: how do you determine who owns a footpath, pavement, road in order to be able to take off from a public location?
