Good Evening All.
Newbie both here and with drones altogether. I currently have a DJI Mavic Mini. Even though the rules don’t currently permit it i do have my flyer and operator licence via the CAA.
My question relates to the new rules which take effect in November 2020. Firstly if i chose to keep my Mini forever and only fly that model will the new rules affect me. Or will i then have to fly 150 metres away from buildings and people.
However, i suspect i will upgrade in the future so lets assume i go for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro which i believe is quite heavy. So if i choose to upgrade to that one will i need to do the A2 CofC to continue flying as i do now which is sensibly within the current rules.
Apolgies if this has been answered numerous time but as i say i’m new to everything
