New to drones in Kettering area

Hi all,

I’m new to drones and all that it entails. I have no previous experience of flying. I will be using for work, surveying buildings mostly, so doing the A2 CofC test next week. I have my flyer & operator ID’s and joined Drone Cover too. Just sorting out Insurance for work! Learning where to fly for practice & leisure is interesting. I went for the Mini 3 Pro with standard battery as seemed to be the best option out there.

Thanks all for your welcome. lots of learning to do. The Mini 3 Pro is an amazing pice of kit! I flew it in Northampton in 2 places today for work inspecting roofs. One area was okay, the other was restricted. As I was only going up below roof level having risk assessed etc It seemed safe to fly. There was a message on screen etc. Very useful. I am amazed how competent it is in the breeze we have today.
