Pano-Mania #1 - (aka The Great Pano Thread)

Another pano from 3 years ago that I’ve reworked.

This is interesting because the moving water has always prevented stitching of the area immediately below. I may have discovered a work-around.

Nicely done :+1:t2: what is the work around Dave?

It’s taken about 12 hours to achieve it … no idea if I can repeat it … and if I can I doubt I could write it up to explain it. LOL!

Rather pleased with this re-working of a pano taken exactly 3 years ago yesterday.

The original 2018 version was a little different.

REALLY pleased with this re-worked pano from summer '19 at Trevone beach in north Cornwall!

Getting all the ripples on the sand to line up has always been an issue with stitching progs. Easy it wasn’t … but I’m getting the hang of it. :+1:

Cornwall has some amazing beaches  another great pano Dave :+1:t2: Did you use the same technique to stitch that you used in the river pano above?

Similar technique, but not identical.
Using a mix of techniques to different extents depending on the content.
Could be a bit lazy with river because the surface is random, not regular little waves like on the beach.

Of course, I may have moved between pics 13 and 24 … so probably need to get in and mask if the sand ripples are lined up OK.

Could you spot remove all of you, you wouldn’t notice the sand so much then

I can see sand errors! :fearful:

Keep on practicing, could have used less wind though.
