I’m not religious so overflying graveyards and churches doesn’t bother me, but I’d make sure to fly when I wasn’t annoying anyone who might be bothered by a drone. I got some shots at Our Lady’s Island in Wexford last weekend. There were no notices prohibiting drones or any flight restrictions in Drone Scene or weather restrictions in UAV forecast, but I felt it maybe wasn’t politically correct to fly because the walk around the island can be done as a pilgrimage and some people were saying prayers etc. as they passed me. There were only a few people around so I just waited till they left area before I launched the Mini 2 by which point I was on my own and had no reason not to fly as I wasn’t bothering anybody.

Guess I’ll need to look into drone hacks for this one though as just looked and the Coventry CBS Arena is in a massive DJI Geo Zone

You can unlock stadiums with DJI, It’s fairly straightforward.

I know we have a ‘firework’ theme on the go, but is it also worth getting the autumn colours one going sooner rather than later? Maybe make it the mandatory choice for the next RTF? I think we’re in peak colour changing times and before you know it, it’s gone!

@firstadekit You can always choose your own RTF regardless of the current competition, the purpose of which is to give you ideas if you can’t think of any offhand. And you can still post on the daily photo thread. 
A suggestion for December - is there someone near where you live who goes totally over the top with Christmas lights on their house and garden ? 
Someone? There’s a whole street that goes mad every year over in Stockport.

I get that but gives more people incentive to do something that’s only possible a short period of the year and looks like I’m out of that chance this year sadly (see here) so being selfish and want to see lots of others.

I like looking at everyone else’s photos too, there are some really top notch shots posted. I find my problem can be that RTF doesn’t always coincide with OTF (opportunity to fly)
