Does it really take this long to calibrate the IMU?
Never needed to in 2 years … so can’t tell you.

One other thought I’ve had … I’m wondering if the plate the gimbal is mounted on, to which those suspension bands are connected, has been bent out of shape in the fence incident.

, and all the tabs onto which the bands attach should all be in the same flat plane … as indicated in red.
I’d admit that this will be very difficult to actually see.
As you may have realised with my supply of spare parts to photograph, I’ve been into this part of the MP a couple of time (never as a result of a flying accident, though!).
