Short hyperlapse

Short hyperlapse at Kilchurn Castle, Loch Awe.

Wish I’d given it longer and little bit of unwanted motion as flying manually.

Does Litchi work with the M2P yet? That would be the pefect way to get HyperLapse in that kind of environment.

Yes litchi works.

GO4 also has waypoints in hyperlapse mode. You fly to each of the points and position camera then set it as a waypoint. When you start, it goes from waypoint to waypoint and adjusts camera between.

The one I posted was 2s interval and I think 200 shots. I’d like to do a full battery.

@callum, how did you set up the camera? Manual mode and let it be? My first attempt was a sunset one and really didn’t work too well

Manual focus and everything else on auto.

That’s such a good Hyperlapse … that a (rather whacky) Hyperlapse Badge has been created, taking it’s inspiration from @callum’s video! :+1:

Hope to see it soon, all shiny on your profile!

Calum any chance of it being put up somewhere at full res?

That clip is 1920x1080 - straight off the M2P, I think.

Yeah that’s the video created by the drone.

I have the raw files but they are 20MP 3:2.

I’d need to reduce to 4k and 16:9 aspect ratio.

I thought the 1080p result was good enough.

If I do a longer one I might use the extra pixels to add some motion in another direction.

I’d do it 4:3 … you’ll see more sky/ground movement at top/bottom … that might accentuate the movement!

… or look naff … but worth trying.

Might give it a try.

Only ever did timelapses in Premiere so will need to work out how to do it with Resolve.

Simple - drag the consecutively numbered files in and it creates a video.

Bloody hell, the raw folder for that sequence is 7.8GB!
