Nice pic @Chieflongshin :+1:t2:

What a cool job!!

Love the shots, but if I had to pick one, it has to be the last one. Great work, mate.

I woke up last night and couldn’t get back to sleep.
And since my bird was standing in the hallway charged, I snuck out to take my first photos at night :grinning:
These are the best …

Thank you matt :ok_hand:

What a nice shots!!!

I would love to fly all the way there. How far is it from the land?
What bird did you used?
Did you did it from land and flew all the way there?
I am always wary to fly near the city and water. So worried with it plopping into the water :joy:.

It’s only about 3 minutes from land … with my MP.

Next time I’m out Down there, I’ll have to shoot it. It truly fascinates me this place.

Thanks for sharing the Intel.

And an excellent video that shows them off very well! : Massive ships!

Very cool indeed. Must have balls of steel to fly next to the big ships.

I used to be jealous of people, the live in the coast. Since I got the little bird, it only got worst :upside_down_face:

It’s not that difficult, really. At least they maintain a constant speed and their headings change only slowly. So, really, no more difficult than avoiding a block of flats … that’s moving … :stuck_out_tongue:

Exactly. And on top of that, above the water. Surely, what could go wrong? :joy::joy::joy:

The drone is totally unaware of this. Nothing changes.

What can’t go wrong is that you can fall out of the sky and hit someone. #Bonus.

If your drone should fall 300ft on land … it’s a box of dry pieces that are of no use to you anyway.
If over water, it’s a lost very wet drone that’s still of no use to you.

At least one can enjoy flying where there’s nothing else to get in your way (other than the ship you are tracking) and likewise you get in nobody else’s way, and you are too far from people for them to be aware that you’re there at all.

Some of the most relaxing flying I’ve done.

@PingSpike

Because it was my first attempt to take photos at night, I took photos in automatic mode to see what happened first.
