I can confirm its 8 seconds max in the Air 2S
I was out this afternoon with the DSLR at Barbury Castle, a very wet, cold and windy day. On the way back, I decided to stop near M4 Junction 16 and grabs a few more night time snaps with the Mini 2.
Decided very last minute this afternoon with a break in the weather to nip out to Hadrians Wall again. Then it hit me. I need to charge the mini 2 batteries. The joys of keeping them uncharged after the last flight!! So with one battery and the light failing I took some pretty crap photos tbh. So after messing about in editing, this is the best I could do. I did enjoy getting out though!
That’s a cracking photo, Chris
Thanks Chris. Its mainly messing about in post which helped.
@CSB73 nice photo …I was hoping to get along to sycamore gap this year but think it may be an almost bare tree now …might get there if we have some snow/frost …Alan
Nope, too big and draughty!

I’ve been thinking of doing the exact same thing.
Thanks Alan. I would agree with you and John @Drumsagard. A snow type shot of sycamore gap could be stunning.
@Drumsagard John just for your information its NT but about 300 yrds directly south of the tree is a small hill near a track not NT …I’ve taken dslr shots from there in the past that would be my TOAL point …Alan
Thanks for the info Alan
Thanks John, but I don’t think you can go wrong anywhere in Scotland. It is such a beautiful landscape.
We took the opportunity to have a few more days on our boat on The Broads a couple of weeks ago. Here are a few more pics shot with either my MA2 or Mini 2.
@Mouldy fantastic location …no hills to get in the way …great images …Alan
We were there yesterday around 13.00 and had trouble even standing (wind not local brown ale), you did well.
Thanks Keith. Was there about 6ish. Was still pretty windy then. Had a few warnings on the app so didn’t take it too far away.
Some pretty stunning sunset shots @Mouldy.
Quick week away in Portugal, I’ve just remembered that I am yet to add my photos from my Lake District trip as well so do keep an eye out for those in the next few days. Feels like ages since I was last on here!
That’s a cracker mate
Cheers Ivor
