A few more shots from the same trip out. I should say that these were taken despite the presence of a a fairly ahem well-oiled gentleman, who insisted on repeatedly asking me the same questions about the drone over and over.
Ended up telling him it was a criminal offence to speak to someone operating an aircraft, which I know doesn’t apply to drones but was surprisingly effective!

The car park is on the site of Baddesley Colliery (as I mentioned in the Fundamental Colour Competition entry).
Back in October 1970 aged 18, as an apprentice bricklayer, I was helping carry out office alterations at the colliery along with other alterations.
I have cause to remember Friday October 9th on site very well because that was my last day as a single man. My work mates took me to the village pub (The Rose) and we all became quite merry.
So these photos are special to me, if only I had some aerial shots from that year.
Things change, we get older, and old men waffle on.
Solar panels and car parks are so last year. 
And I really can’t see if you’ve managed to get four red or blue Landies in a row. 
Lots of new cars too. What chip shortage! Or maybe it’s because no one can afford a Land Rover anymore!
I will nip down over Easter and rearrange them … some people!! 
Whilst you do, better than three red in a row I’d arrange then to spell “GADC”.
if you do, I’m sure a badge could be arranged.
Or maybe they want a more reliable car…
No problem… I will do that task in only grey ones.

I was hoping for a nice pana from The Old Cafe on the A686 in Northumberland.
As we got closer the wind got up, the cloud came down.
Managed this but it promises so much more.
Out with my 14 year old son teaching him ‘how to fly a drone’. I’m sure he’ll master losing it in no time
