Love the upward rotation on the Mini 3 nimble, you can get some great cloud shots.

Took the mini 2 out for a fly around Elrig. Lovely morning for it.

Finally… after >2yrs I got my Mavic Air back into the air… only a brief up/snap/down as didn’t want to annoy the neighbours too much.

Hoping time / location allows for a bit more flying this week.

Some images from my places of work at the weekend, taken on the Mini 3 on it’s first day on the job :+1: :grinning: On Saturday I was photographing a wedding at Sherbrooke Castle Hotel in Glasgow. Image taken in portrait mode on the Mini 3.

Sunday’s wedding was at Ingliston Country Club near Bishopton on the banks of the Clyde. Ingliston is an equestrian centre but is very well known in Scotland as a great wedding venue.
Back in the days before drones, I’d be looking for a step ladder or a first floor window etc. to get a big group shot of all the guests. Now it’s dead easy, just pop the drone up.

Some shots of Ingliston in the evening sun. Last pic is looking away from Ingliston looking down river to Dumbarton Castle. Didn’t notice till I was editing these but just caught the Waverley heading back up river to it’s berth in Glasgow (bottom right corner of the frame). The PS Waverley is the last seagoing passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. (before anyone asks, yes I was very close to the pylons :joy:)

The big house to the left belongs to the owners of Ingliston, who kindly let us photographers have use of their grounds.

I had a client meeting in Stirling last night and thought I’d hang about afterwards as the rain had stopped and was hoping for a nice sunset. The weather gods duly obliged!

Have to say I’m very impressed with the quality of the images from Mini 3 raw files. I love how quiet it is to fly, though I’m going to have to get some Strobon Cree’s for it as I keep on losing it in the sky. A quiet grey drone against a grey sky is like a cloaking device! :grimacing:

Awsome pics…again! :ok_hand:t2:. Was the 1st one colour graded? I never seem to be in the right place, right time to get them that dramatic.

Thanks Colin :+1: I process my raw images in Lightroom and use the Presence pallet to tweak the colours.

This does help lol When I got to my location the sun had gone behind some clouds but I could see the gap on the horizon where it would come through, so just left the drone hovering while I waited on the sun dipping down. The longer flight times on the Mini 3 help.

Another church I’m afraid, bright sunshine when I left the house, clouding over when I got there.

Just learning how to stitch AEB together in Gimp apparently I need a plugin to process RAW so this is the jpg effort.

Well it certainly works! My laptop is steam driven (Intel i5 with a GForce gpx card) using Win7! Goin to upgrade to Win 10 (avoided it cus Win7 has been so stable) and get Divinci Resolve. Got to be better than using the Fly app editor and I’ll get 4K instead of the limiting 1080p. :+1:t2:

The Missus had me check the gutters today … would’ve been rude not to take a picture or two of the street whilst up there …

Certainly do Ade, They are all really good.
Who doesn’t like sunsets.
So much to see in the “mad mile” photo.
Those cranes on the HS2 are begging to be filmed.
