I love these, the second one down is my favourite…I think it’s the way the cars go diagonally across the shot and the colours look great - the cars look like scale models!
What drone Wayne Very vibrant & clear
That blurring effect makes those houses look smaller or like they are close up to the drone.
Like lots of little model houses.
Called the Tilt Shift Effect … and used precisely to have that illusion.
Stunning shots Wayne. Braver man than I am to fly over the mansion!
As i was already there, why not
Is that something that’s done in the drone, or in post processing?
Post.
I use this app as I’m no good with photoshop etc:
Indeed
It is called a tilt shift effect, you can do it easily in Photoshop, it mimics using a tilt shift lens. Drone images are fantastic for this sort of photography
I was working at Airth Castle for the second week in a row and decided to photograph the old church ruins which sit right beside it (been meaning to shoot this for ages!). The original Airth Parish Church was consecrated by Bishop Robert of St. Andrews in 1120, it was abandoned in favour of a new church at the north end of the village of Airth in 1820. Nature is now closing in around the ruins.
