Whilst there, I met the very old caretaker and daughter. We chatted for about half an hour. His first memory was of his father showing him inside the windmill. It’s the only working windmill in the southwest of England. He asked for my email so he could invite me inside the next time they’re milling.
Not saying i shit myself when this happened mid flight above the sea, but i needed a change of undies.
At least i had the presence to get a photo of the oyster catchers, which i wouldn’t have done if videoing.
Really pleased with this one, this is three surfers using a front at Bigbury-on-sea to locate themselves.
We’ve had a lot of rain recently so the river outflow is really muddy, this was taken on low-water slack where it extends out into the bay, meeting the clearer oceanic water.#
This isn’t even a HDR image, all I’ve done is dragged the blacks down a bit for contrast, was in the golden hour just as the sun was going down
What with work and the weather, I’ve had my new Mavic 3 Classic for two weeks now and it only got it’s maiden flight today. Popped down to my favourite flying spot, the old graving docks on the Clyde in Glasgow city centre this morning. Minus 3 when I arrived but a glorious morning to be out flying
Facing west from the graving docks, looking to the Glasgow Riverside Museum and the latest bridge being built on the river. It will connect Govan and Partick and is expected to be finished in early 2024.
