No, I got lots of video footage of the trains traveling by. But I did not get a good position for a Photo. And yes It was cold.
I’ve uploaded a video to youtube. It will be out on the 25th of February
Great photos again, and I know its not a comp, but would be nice to share the location and/or subject. I find that and the camera setting info invaluable.
Beautifully done
I’ve been experimenting with some styles that look to copy what Pep Ventosa was doing with multiple images, it wasn’t a total failure so I thought I’d post it here. It might have worked for the abstract challenge just before xmas though a composite of 60 images might not have got past the gate keepers.
Its taken by a mini2, standard orbital quick shot and then I pulled 60 frames out of the video, for some reason I’d not set the quick shot video to 4k, so it’s just in 1980x1080 resolution. I then experimented with blend modes, opacity and fill and this was the result, this was using pin light blend mode with 22% opacity and 74% fill, the first frame was set to normal blend mode which added some definition back in.
It was a grey February day when the video was taken, I’m hoping to go back when there’s a chance of better light and try again but fix the resolution of the video, location is here
If anyone’s interested, examples of his work are here
Cool but it looks like he should of gone to specsavers.
So true, I should have said, it’s a tree :-
Looks like Earl Sterndale… beautiful. Well done for getting out there in the snow.
Thanks, I have been waiting several years to get this image
Here are a few of my Mini 2 shots taken this morning at Ward Park in Bangor, Co. Down. I’d taken a walk to get rid of the jet-lag on my return from Scotland.
My lad wanted to fly the mini 3 this morning.
I got him out of bed at 6.30 to take him to the Ashton Memorial but there was a bit of rain so diverted by 41 miles so he could shoot the tower instead.
i took the Mavic 2 Pro
One from the other evening on my way back from photographing Celtic Park. The new Top Golf experience in Glasgow. Shot on the Mini 3 Pro.
