@clinkadink Nice one Chris. Thought they had a kids go free for the Summer thing there ,(presume under 16s)?
That’s correct. Luckily my son is a few weeks off 16. So a cracking deal
Love this one!
My place of work yesterday, Lochside House Hotel near New Cumnock in South Ayrshire. Heavy rain showers off and on all day.
The light in the evening was better though but didn’t get the chance to get the drone back up.
Grabbed this just before the first dance
Just finished eating my home made pizzas this evening when @Kirky messaged me saying he’s down my way. So popped out to Pewsey Downs for a bit of late night flying. Even met some tree hugging nutters at the top of Adam’s Grave asking us if we were here for the Aliens. Muppets.
We had a little camping trip out to Rhos on sea, on what was probably the last hottest day of 23. Before setting up we made B-line to Trearddur bay on Anglesey for a day at the beach…
Taken with the mini 3 pro
Now a couple of snaps taken from the campsite at Rhos with the Air2S
Last but not least the shot which nearly cost me my beloved Air2S, which isn’t great at all because of the exposure time and the hi wind’s that came from nowhere. As I’ve said in another thread, we had a laugh while trying to find it but all in all it wasn’t bloody worth it
Where’s this, James?
thanks @clinkadink Chris you beat me to it
You can see “Big Carl”, the yellow crane on the left. The is the largest in the world, nearly the same height as The Shard in London and can lift up to 5,000 tonnes. I work on the HPC project and been to site dozens of times over the years, even applied to fly there - but they said no.
Probably need to find a location that is just outside the 3km zone.
Not so easy with with topography of the area and Bridgwater Bay zone (which I have no idea why it is there or what it prevents)
Coaley peak, Gloustershire with @clinkadink Chris
Coaley Peak, Gloucestershire, where I met up with @Kirky yesterday afternoon.
A great viewing point facing west towards the Severn River. With the Air 3’s 70mm lens, I could make out both Severn Bridges and Sharpness. If you look closely, the Brecon Beacons are on the horizon to the distant far right.
