A few more from Fiddlers Ferry yesterday, it was the perfect day for it, going over the towers and looking in was a nerve racking moment for me, my knees were shaking. 🫨

Couple I took while I nipped over from the Dales to Ambleside and nearby Low Wray from my recent holiday. Video out next Thu!

Always good to check on the old pierhead to see how it’s doing. A rather grey but calm morning here in Herne Bay.

Mavic 3 on the 3x camera, settings left in auto.

Went for a small walk with the dog and visited the Tyndal Bruce monument in Falkland (not to be confused with the Falkland Isles  )

Lovely views and very peaceful.

Blurb from the Fife council page

Tyndal Bruce monument stands alone on the Blackhill, West Lomond, with panoramic views over the Howe of Fife and beyond. It was built in 1855 by Margaret Tyndall Bruce to honour her late husband, Onesiphorus Tyndall Bruce. The Tyndall Bruces were owners of Falkland Estate at that time and benefactors to the Parish of Falkland.

I’m the same …. I can fly the same height and same distance away, and feel relaxed, but do the same above a building and the knees start to knock!

Nice pics :+1:t3:

Thanks Shaun, I did see that location as I passed by looking :+1:t2:

I visited the Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley in Shropshire this weekend. The place is stunning. There are places in Britain that you know will be jaw dropping when you get there; the lochs in Scotland, the hills in Brecon and Snowdonia … but seriously - this is a gem. And I loved every bit of it.

Just checking John, is the horizon on the wonk, or should I lay off the G&T?

Probably.

The house isn’t square on and looking down on it … it appears at an angle.

Houses are the back look OK.

I thought that as well at first Chris and tried adjusting it, made it worse :joy: The drone isn’t looking straight on at it, been shot from a slight angle.

I wasn’t there this past weekend, but in September I was. I posted a 360 over here, and here’s a straightforward shot over the hills to the east, iirc.

Thanks to @clinkadink and @PitchFader for leading on this. We need more shots from Shropshire!

Cotter Force near Hawes using mini 3 Pro dodging the trees. First attempt at a slow exposure shot using an ND1000 filter and ISO100. Kind of failed!!
