Do you have a location @Hobo neil :+1:t2:

Ah yes, Dinting Station Derbyshire. Used to be called Dinting Junction and before that Glossop - On the Woodhead line between Manchester and Sheffield, where the track leaves the mainline for the Glossop spur.

FairPlay for braving the cold :smile:
Congrats for your first flight too !

Flooded Thames and Thame rivers on 10 January around the confluence near Dorchester. Wittenham Clumps and Day’s Lock visible in some shots, though my usual walk into there along the Thames Path was several feet underwater still after the flooding that started on 5 January. The mysterious Dyke Hills were picked out nicely by the dusk light. DJI Air 2S.

There used to be a small railway museum at Dinting which is long gone.

The remnants can still be seen on Google maps.

Particularly like the lighting on the Wittenham Clumps photo!

Thanks Geoff, the dusk light was an unexpected bonus.

I live within VLOS of the old museum. Keep meaning to get up there to get some footage of the old shed that is still there. Fascinating history to the place that is now mostly woodland

A quick flight near Southampton Docks yesterday evening.

I grew up in Glossop, went to St James on Chadwick st. Then lived in Whitfield and went to Glossop Comprehensive. Then moved up to Crowden at Woodhead, before joining the Army and finding pastures ( and shitholes) new.
