Foster care duties took us to Caldicot today and so I took the opportunity to flip the M3 up and snap a pic of Caldicot Castle. The castle doesn’t officially open until next month so just a few workmen in today,
Killed two birds with one stone this morning - took the dog out for a good run and took advantage of the good weather to get flying again (its been a good 4 or 5 months, due mainly to weather/work/daily life)

This tower has been flown over by a couple of other members, but I visited for the first time yesterday.
Horton Tower, or Sturt’s Folly located in Horton, Dorset.
Seems to be a popular location going by the number of members that have flown there
An ongoing project I am taking on, flying with a pair of local kites that seem to live behind my house. At some point, the luck will happen and I will manage to get a short film of some sort. Very hard to spot on the controller but this is a challenge I am not giving up on.

Went up to Birkenhead yeaterday to see RFA Tidespring leave Cammell Laird ship yard. Grey sky and grey ship. Think shes due on exercise soon.
Noticed on Vesselfinder it was anchored in Liverpool bay last night, now pottering about off NW coast of Anglesey.
Doing some tests before they go further. Looked strong when it took off up the mersey. Its tanks are empty though.
