Sorry again… the one I suggested is 2A, the original £100 one is 3A.

So listen to @SirGunner

I’d pay the extra £30 personally if building… but then I “shouldn’t” kill it or lose it in a river, lol… I might though.

Its also an F4 not an F7. I think personally I would pay the extra for the F7 with more Uarts, Bl Heli 32, 3A BEC plus wifi as a bonus

Yeah that’s what I thought. 9V 3A is what I am after.

Madstech advised against that. And if you had to, to use a spike absorber or a tvs diode inline.

Oh and just noticed it has an Air Unit port for easy plug n play with the AU

I said you could, not that you should

I know alot of people power their Vistas direct from Vbat and have no issues but I prefer to use the filtered 9/10V from the flight controller. There are so many different ways to wire things up in this hobby and everyone argues over the best ways to do things but youll find your own preferences over time :+1:t2:

Does this look OK before I spend the rest of the christmas shopping money?

I read that too but can’t see it on the board.

It’s underneath. That diagram is Mk1… if you look closely at the photo on the unmanned tech page it says “4th Gen” on the chip.

Thanks! Well spotted.

Just here Chris

I’ve probably missed something, but I think all I need now is:

  1. 6S battery
  2. XT60 connector
  3. Props (lots)

Anything else?

Batteries (plural) 1 wont last you long, around 5mins ish

Should come with the flight stack

The more the merrier lol

Prop tool would be useful too although you might have something suitable already in your tool kit

Oh and have you got a charger for your 6S batteries?

Not anymore. Used to have the ToolkitRC M4Q.

Ugh… I have one of those… never use it since I got an ISDT K2.

An update on the build cost* …

TOTAL: 537.54

*Excluding accessories such as charger, cloth tape, etc.

Are those batteries decent enough?
