Oh ok, no worries, it’s a learning curve🤪
It has been noted by the greybeards that ultimately control GADC that this year’s Challenges Committee have been a bunch of softies, wusses and spineless shandy-drinkers. They have allowed the Birthday Challenge contestants far too much freedom, have responded volubly to queries on subjects that are already self-explanatory and have been extremely lax in awarding penalties.
They have now experienced a short, sharp shock!
The result of their re-orientational training is that, from now until the end of the Challenge, standards will be severely tightened. It is now the responsibility of the contestants to ensure that they understand and comply with the rules, satisfy themselves that they comprehend any terms and definitions in the subject list, and that they correctly and fully supply Drone Scene information - such as the location in the title - as required.
To that end the committee themselves will be under intense scrutiny from their superiors and any deviation will be severely punished. You may confidently expect those standards to be applied to yourselves, the contestants.
Have a nice day!
That’s me donald ducked now, eh?

Paul, as this is your first entry this year we have begged special dispensation from our new, strict overseers to remind you about the Drone Scene rules:
To earn a Drone Scene bonus a Drone Scene marker and description must be placed on the map shortly after your flight and the link to it included with your image as part of your competition entry. The place to which it relates must be at least 1 kilometre measured on the Drone Scene map from any prior entry for the same subject. If there is such an existing marker then the Drone Scene bonus cannot be awarded. (our emphasis)
A Drone Scene entry - name of subject and town.city location, TOAL information, nearby parking and other details - if posted this morning will gain an extra point
Drone Scene entry added
Been trying to add two entries but I’m struggling to upload the photos, keeps getting to 48% then stopping. Will need to wait until I am back in the UK ![]()

I claim 3 points, if it all actually uploads this time!!!
We have been waiting for this. Spotted traces of it early this morning so have already checked its validity
Nice Drone Scene details by the way!
Good to see what it is and an idea of where in the UK it is located ! Take note Drone Scene contributors!
The new regime encountered a modicum of passive-aggressive resistance from the more established members of the Chall Com team when it came to competitor concessions.
