The only one I have seen was on the M6 north on Saturday, wasn’t going to follow him…
I saw one the day before the competition strarted, it was going down the road and was all red. If the comp had started i might have followed it.![]()
Ade 2, Jason 3
This is a transcript of a secret recording from a sound-activated listening device disguised as a little model aeroplane desktop ornament delivered as a ‘gift’ to ChallComm HQ.
Cuppa?
Yes, please. (muffled background noises of tea being made)
There you go.
Cheers mate, ta!
He was back again!
Who?
Who do you think? That Fat Controller guy, again, with his questions.
The man’s a feckin’ pest, what did he want this time?
He wanted to know about trades.
Trades?
Yes, for entries, you know, like the Esso World Cup coins, or cigarette cards, or Pokemon. He said if you had a ‘double’ photo couldn’t you swap it with someone else who has a different ‘double’ and then you’d get one you need and so would they?
We, can’t have that, co-operation and collaboration between the entrants?, that’s insane. There’s no way we can allow it.
Might get in a few more entrants?
Don’t you think we have enough of them to babysit as it is!
You’re probably right.
I’m always right, we’d better keep this under wraps, if it got out who knows what would happen, they’d start making up their own rules, think of the consequences.
Wait a minute, what’s that?
Where?
This, here, in the model, looks like some sort of microch…
Recording ceases at this point, reason unknown.

So sad that I can still remember the phone number

With 5 days to go or 10 entries possible, 10 people can still win it or come in the top 3.
Are we going to see the same 1,2 & 3 from last year with @Acedrone taking the crown? Might be down to whether Jason has got a Land Rover? Or maybe @john768 has got two red cars waiting to cross once the train has passed?
For the benefit of others, as we stand, I have dropped points on all of the above and more ![]()
Maybe the same 3 in reverse order!
unlikely ![]()
Although if @D0c.Col or @firstadekit can find 5 windsurfers with different colour sails we might all get beaten…
Noel, it’s Arfur, we’re on to a nice little earner here, I’ve two isolated towers and a sailing vessel with a cabin stashed in the lockup. I’ll swap 'em for a freight train, but you’ll need to pick them up before Chisum and Taff get here, OK.
Thank you for your idea, Paul.
It’s far too good to be in the hands of wide boys, spivs and C list ex celebrities so GADC have legitimised the trade.
Any attempts to trade subjects or bonus items outside of the official GADC market will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Have a nice day ![]()
Oh, all right then, I’ll behave. ![]()
Taken 30th August around half nine on DJI Mini 2, Gairnshiel Old Military Road
After visiting dozens of building sites with no luck, I happened upon this on the way to Elgin, the drone gods must have been smiling on me ![]()
The pump is being used to build a new bridge over the River Gairn which was built in 1751. It’s a pretty little bridge that’s worth a visit itself. Unfortunately every time I pass their is no place sensible to park, today I chanced my luck.
- A Truck mounted Concrete pump

Erect and in use
Predominately red,
A “Readymix” type rotating drum truck loading the concrete pump
I’m going to ask four the four points, but I seem to recall this being denied previously. I think my luck may just have ran out for the day, but if you don’t ask you don’t get.
Nice find Darren.
A worthy three points.
You are right, the concrete pump should be predominately red for a bonus but one of your colleagues provided us with manufacturers literature that showed that the outriggers form part of the assembly they provide to be fitted to a truck chassis. And your outriggers are yellow ![]()
Well done, I was up there a couple of weeks ago, when it was pumpless. The “ringing stone” is just half-a-mile or so away, which is worth a visit if you go back the same route.
