4. A Graveyard

  • Bonus point if there is someone famous (which most people would have heard of, not just a local celebrity) buried in the graveyard (wikilink or photo of the gravestone or similar for proof).

I believe the picture shows more than one mausoleum
As before, Anne Brontë is buried here (Anne Brontë - Wikipedia)

Actually it was mid afternoon - the only area of sun in a cloudy day.

I feel your pain. I got excited yesterday to see two tractors of what I believed to be the correct colours. I’d just got set up and one of them left the field and buggered off!

We are going to disagree with you here as we use the wiki definition of mausoleum:

and we do not consider any of the above-ground tombs or sarcophagi to be buildings.

Only two points, sorry :frowning:

Oh well, I thought those applied (especially as the Wikipedia entry goes on to talk about them not always being large buildings), but hey ho. On to the next task.

Frustrating mate, I was actually going some where else & only see that on the off chance, as happy as a sand boy, then only realised I set it to 1 second shots instead of the 2 it was previously at,

You can try again tho, me, I’m done for

Good luck :crossed_fingers:t2:

I know your pain, last week I saw 2 tractors working in a field and couldn’t find anywhere in the country lane to stop and set up the shots I needed. Then I saw a large construction machine on a lorry either going somewhere to be set up or returned to a yard and couldn’t find anywhere to turn round to follow it, by the time I found somewhere I had lost him. Man this treasure hunt gets you going places lol.

People will be submitting tactical NOTAMs next…

I recently had a test and got new glasses, think I’d have pooped my pants seeing that contraption

@AdrianR Good shot of the metal man on the bench looking East, its so much bigger in real life - the number of people who try and climb it!

  1. Construction plant - (dozer, excavator or dump truck)

Ok, I’m only claiming 1 point despite there being so many bits of metal on show. I’m assuming at least one is a dozer.

Location Osgodby, nr Scarborough. 18th Aug. Taken with a DJI mini SE.

Is that a Victorian gimp mask

It’s stranger than that, Richard:

Plenty of machinery there, Hamish, As far as we can make out there are several wee dumpers and a range of excavators but no dozers. Or telehandlers. Never mind, at least you get a point.

Maybe someone with better eyesight or a massive hi-res monitor can carry out a search and identify all the bits of kit :microscope:

Jeeeeez that’s crazy !
Looks like something out the film saw :scream:

I guess these days for movies etc as it said one of its intentions ( movies ), is AI & lots of editing, how times move on, looks mad tho have to say, thanks for showing me the link …

Welcome! Have you seen the host a party - subject 26 announced yesterday?

And nice first entry. 4 points which will show up on the Leaderboard when it is refreshed tomorrow evening

Excellent thanks, might be a bit far for me to host a party just yet i’m quite new here and don’t know many yet. May be able to attend a party if any local to me in London though.

I was going to get out before midnight to do a lit building and get my 2 in for the day but its chucking down now…
