Very nice John though you seem to have left out a wee fact that maybe the boys and girls would like to know:
There is a naturist camp in the north east of the island

15. A Castle
Lancaster Castle, Lancaster
Apparently there is little or no documentation detailing exactly when it was built, though it is known there was a Roman fort on the site as early as 60AD, with the basis of the current structure being started in the 1090s.

Photo taken 23/08/23 at 10:43, DJI Mini 2, and there was a flag flying so I claim 4 points please

16. A Hillfort - as shown on the definitive Oxford University Hillforts Map
Mam Tor, Derbyshire. DJI Mini 3 pro 23/8/23
Finding dates for hill forts isn’t easy (and I can’t access the Oxford University map), but I believe this one is pre-800 BCE. The Wikipedia entry says it was maybe occupied from 1200 BCE. The National Trust (at MNA112487 | National Trust Heritage Records) says “A hillfort, with middle and late Bronze Age occupation evidence (from excavation)”
The Wikipedia entry is here: Mam Tor - Wikipedia
So I would like to claim 3 points, but ready to be knocked back on one of them
4 points for your castle.
The National Trust website says:
Mam Tor is well known for its Bronze Age hillfort, but it also had prehistoric burials before the hillfort was constructed. During the 19th century an excavation of two mounds, located at the south end of the hillfort, revealed a bronze axe and some prehistoric pottery. These have been dated by archaeologists to the Late Neolithic or Bronze Age (c.2400-1500BC).
We are happy to grant you all three points!
