Nice to see you Joe

3 points awarded. If this competition heats up we foresee competitors either hiring red cars or painting their own vehicles :slight_smile:

Item 4. A graveyard

Mauchline Churchyard is the resting place of a number of famous folk from Robert Burns’ time in the area. As well as four of his children and his brother, there are a number of his friends who appeared in his poems. Also buried here is Poosie Nansie, whose pub (which appeared in one of Burns’ works) is still a pub today.

You didn’t fancy a trip to Dumfries to the man himself’s mausoleum? :slight_smile:

2 points awarded.

Hmm… two minutes up the road or a three hour round trip? It’s a tough one :wink:

(Besides, if I went to Dumfries I’d have found it difficult to work in the excellent Poosie Nansie!)

Two points to you, Richard :slight_smile:

@Kirky Richard - no timelapse ? Could not get anyone to play a trumpet ?

Hi mate
I took that one when I went the other day, as you can see pretty much empty,
Last two times been a lot of faffing around for still very little mate, so, although I know I will not finish with top points, I’ll have to make up for it else where, that said, for me & although I am taking it as serious fun ( if you like ) I will still try my best or at least I can say that I tried,
I have a few around the corner from me, which will hopefully get me max points but, I was trying to get the awkward ones out the way first, if that makes sense,
Cheers Brendan :+1:t2:

@Challenges_Committee

If you are unsure about the definition or specific requirements of any item in the treasure hunt list or require clarification of a rule please ask first, before going to the effort of capturing your intended subject.

6. A Drone in Flight

  • Bonus if its colour matches King Charles’ mistress’s wares.

A phone of a Drone with a 3D printed case in the correct colour, in flight, would earn a Bonus point ?

That would work.

We are not sure that it’s best practice to give one’s ideas out too freely.
:slight_smile:

For those of you attracted to this idea but are uncertain of the colour requirement you could always 3D print cases in a whole spectrum of colours …

Welcome to the competition Lynn!

For your Basildon town centre you get 2 points; for the Service station another 2 points.

Almost perfect entries except we have had to make a wild stab at the aircraft used and think it might be either an H109 or possibly a DJI Mini 3 Pro :slight_smile:

Oops, I had it all listed what was required but forgot that bit, humble apologies, it was a mini 3 pro. :face_with_peeking_eye:
got up really early for a Saturday too. :rofl:

One point added to your score Barrie

@group-challenges

Things are beginning to heat up here at ChallCom HQ as entries begin to flood in, some with the required information, some without. We may have to address that later :slight_smile:

Can’t change the scoring system now but next year how about a .5 bonus for a correctly formatted entry?

Or a -0.5 point deduction for an incorrectly formatted one :blush:
