Nice series - thanks.
Lovely Norfolk sunrise, should of stuck the drone up but not charged so had to make do with my phone
Should have thrown it in the air!
Love the first two.
@MA2flyer Thanks Barrie, it was my first trip outside my home town since lockdown. I invited myself to spend a couple of days at my sister’s place. Had a fantastic time walking, cycling at taking loads of photos.
… nor did I fly my MP.
Not sure why…
And I would have done exactly the same thing (Diabetic) but Diet Pepsi with that bad boy. Feeling guilty?
Not as guilty as that bad boy AND a standard sugary drink.
Also - since the excursion was planned - all I’d eaten all day was one large tomato.
#ClearConscienceAlmost.
That’s also the first food that could be be described as “junk” that I’ve eaten in probably 5 years. It was a nostalgic trip back to my much younger days … although, this time, there was no “large portion of chips”.
I’ve flown there several times before, but usually later evening and/or in chillier times when there’s less food for the scavengers to steal … so relatively gannet free.
Stopped off at Eilean Donan Castle for a few photos on my way back from Skye yesterday evening.
Nikon Z6 - 1/250sec @ f8, 100iso.
I was feeling jealous, nothing more.
I’m still yet to feel hungry … and that feeling is nothing to be jealous of.
Was hoping to get some footage of this coming into Portsmouth Harbour for the first time but the weather was terrible. Scarlet Lady, absolutely enormous!
Took out the video camera - auto shutdown flat battery.
Took out the Olympus TG-6 that I only used last week - auto shutdown flat battery. Had left GPS on.
At least the phone worked!
Kinda reminds me of this post.
That ship is an incredible feat of engineering
I wish I could have got down to the harbour entrance and Round Tower for a closer look. I remember the USS IOWA coming in back in the 80’s. Massive and they had to turn it around in the harbour.
