The never ending "I crashed my drone thread" 🔥

That’s the replacement one I’ve just fitted - dayglo tape yet to go on ( helps find it in long grass  )

Literally just got the analogue version of this today

I think I may have to purchase some of them. I’m just reading through the GPS rescue stuff on the betaflight wiki which seems to be different to what Iflight supply with the drone.

Yes - I’ve yet to experiment with that

I’m pretty used to being the test pilot/crash pilot for the forum these days so will give it a test later today.

Then no doubt start adding GPS to the rest of the fleet

I keep meaning to load Betaflight onto my laptop so I can make adjustments at the field when I enable GPS rescue

GPS rescue works well. It comes back in the general direction to get your video and rc link back

I’ve still yet to use that. Downloaded it but that’s as far as it’s gone

Seems it’s ok if you follow the instructions that come with the drone.

Mine worked well today

And succeeded! Impressive save!

The first video was my attached camera.
The 2nd was all I could see in the Goggles.

Luckily I had @speatuk’s commentary too which helped.

Like that mate. Is that one you made yourself or is it publicly available ?

The GPS mount was designed and printed by me mate. Specifically for the BN-180 and the wind5 race frame by HGLRC. :+1:t2:

Cool mate, What did you use to design it? I may have a go myself so I can add one to my turboBee
