Tiny whoop?

I think I’ll just send them back to Amazon…shame! I was all ready to bind…

But the goddamn charger only has an xt60 connector! I guess I’ll need an adapter…

Yeah I had to make my own cables for charging my smaller batteries.

If your returning those batteries to Amazon, I suggest getting the ones linked below instead for maximum performance.

or

If you want something a little more docile to start out. Either way you should get roughly 4-6 minutes of flight time, unless you thrash the crap out of it

You could also grab,

Thanks dude! I already have some of those on order from eBay.

These adapters should help with the charging yeah?

Another plea for help. The XM+ goes into bind mode when powering up with bind button pressed and with blue and red LEDs illuminated. The x lite goes into bind mode and happily bleeps. But powering down and up again doesn’t result in a connection. I’ve checked the mode. Suggestions online are that I need to flash the receiver…but surely something easier?

Where did you buy your x-lite?

If from China its going to be on international firmware.

Receivers and TX bought in the UK are EU LBT firmware and the two are not compatible.

Might be a mismatch.

Flashing is pretty easy.

Most people flash there stuff to international as the EU firmware only supports D16 meaning you cant use models with built in receiver using D8 protocol.

Ah ha! Is flashing done through beta flight? I’ll stop being lazy and check you tube…!

Unfortunately not.

You download the files onto the tx and flash through the menu system.

The receiver needs to be connected directly to the TX to flash. The x-lite should have a female connector somewhere you use with a short lead to your receiver.

You’re shitting me! I’ve got to desolder, attach some sort of plug and connect it to the transmitter…! I may cry.

Does the xm+ have no connector? just pads?

S’right. Mind you, a plug came with it…

Hold on…

You only really need to flash the controller.

If you know your receivers EU, just flash the controller EU LBT.

Just keep the receiver whatever it is and you don’t have to mess about connecting it to TX.

I was thinking that…

I’d just try that then and perhaps throw on a voice pack while your at it lol.

The tinkering and tweaking never stops btw.

So, briefly, I get an SD card and flash like that?

Yeah, pretty much.

You need to download the firmware for controller and internal module and flash both.

I’ll try find you a guide for the x-lite.

Ok! Thanks! Here we go…

:crossed_fingers:

Hmmm…one thing. So before I flash the transmitter from eu to FCC, how do I know it’s not already FCC? (Maybe the receiver is EU? )…
