Unable to update DJI Mavic Mini (1) Firmware

As mine did then stopped correct ?

And then it stops ? When you press update nothing ?

Stops on the About Screen, but continues on the main screen

Picture number one is where it stops correct ? The first one at the top ?

When it stops, clear the app but Not the cache for firmware within the fly app, mine was exactly the same.

Yes, that’s on the About Screen.

But if you come out and go on to the Home Screen, it shows it’s trying to “Install” Firmware. Not saying updating?

Even when you’ve closed the app properly & then rebooted it ? ( the fly app )

Worth pointing out your screenshots are most likely telling the world where you live.

Id go with the uninstall app option and reinstall. Make a note of your settings first.

Plug it in to assistant if you can, ignore that for a moment & check it’s running all the latest, would be my first go to, probably a fresh install of the fly app too.

I cleared the app cache once re my Mini 2 and it wiped my flight data and reset the hours, distance and flights back to zero.

If it is running the latest, it can’t instal if it’s already there, hence why nothings happening, as said this was my case, so just a bit of advice.

This should re download when you log back in. I deleted the iPhone app numerous times when it morphed in size to gigabytes.

Same, it all came back

So I need to log out first on the app before I clear the cache?

For me & I’m speaking only for me, I’ve deleted it logged in & it still comes back, I think there’s an option somewhere to download or enable all flight logs, under more when you’ve reinstalled the app.
If that makes sense

Looks like we have a solution.

Switch the phone off, then back on and it clears the “Installing” process!

Thanks for the help, hope it benefits others!

The above will always stop this issue, the problem was one phone downloaded the firmware and started the installation so when you switched phones it tried to carry on updating

Always turn off the Auto firmware update :+1:

It shouldn’t if you have synced the flight data to DJI as it is all stored on their server

I did jokingly have typed out have you tried turning it off and on again but didn’t think my sarcasm would go down well mid thread. :joy:

Well, good it all sorted but I just want to clarify, doing as I said above solved it for me, that I only found out & learned from the specialists.
Irrelevant now, as solution was found.

Thanks Kirky, the only problem I have is, I do not have a laptop!
