With my Mavic Mini II I’m just going for hand landing!
Are you worrying unduly?
as others have suggested
hand launch/capture is very successful
go for it
That really depends what you fly. I’ve a M2P with a tablet strapped to the controller. I’m not hand catching that in a hurry.
obviously my mistake
I thought Truscom had indicated a Mini 2?
I must have misread the information
or did I?
No, no mistake. I’m just pointing out it depends what you fly.
Got my new landing mat - I have even learnt to fold it in record time!
There’s definitely a knack to it.
This looks useful not too thick and a reasonable price.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Checker-Rubber-Flooring-Matting-Lengths/dp/B01GU1VTA2/ref=pb_allspark_session_sims_desktop_7?pd_rd_w=mcqpC&pf_rd_p=2b4dbb61-2813-4386-81ae-b89765d1d1f0&pf_rd_r=VXX6V9BEBRB016ZHZDV4&pd_rd_r=2689d76f-fc36-45a4-b49d-59e5f7a622a5&pd_rd_wg=7RJWL&pd_rd_i=B01GU1VTA2&psc=1
Free samples available, wonder if they’re Mini 2 size
I would say the best landing mat is the one you are using at the time it lands.
♂
I’ll close the door on the way out.
Rubber door mat from Poundland.
Big cross of white/red parcel tape on one side to give the camera something to aim for.
Rolls up nicely, secured with velcro strap.
Total outlay £2 and about 2 minutes work.
Sorted.
Dragons Den will be over all that
I’m waiting for the call
Lol I taped four squares of Lino together for mine. White and black.
Treated myself to this dual-purpose Kumfie somewhere to sit and bright green Mini 2 landing pad, £2.50 with their discount card and it was free delivery this weekend. Still £2.50 with the card but the free delivery offer seems to have finished.
Oops, an edit seems to have removed it was bought from Go Outdoors.
This is mine that I bought three weeks ago and I’ve used it twice when out and about and once in the garden seems well made and easy to clean.
I’m new to flying and have searched through the comments to find this post.
Thank you and I now have a Landing Pad in the post!
Cheers
