Which video editing software

Definitely some issues but still Premiere Pro is the least bad.

Not on the platform @its.steves.shots is talking about.

If you’re on Mac FCPX is a no brainier

Once you know how it’s a really capable piece of software, highly recommend having a play

And there some good tutorials with more on the way :grimacing::wink:

Absolutely. You can do some amazing things in it. Learning curve… it depends how deep you want to go, but the bare basics are pretty much the same on any of this kind of software,

Can’t go wrong with Imovie on Ios.

Good morning fellow droners,
After realising that my previous laptop was not fast enough I have bit the bullet and splashed out on a new unit, I won’t bore you with the specs but it is up to the job for years to come. Which editing suites do you recommend?, I don’t want to pay out big monthly fees.
Any pointers please.

I would suggest Davinci Resolve 17 - extensive video editing capability and free too :+1: :+1: :+1:

Moved your post over to this thread that will have all the info you need without everyone needing to repeat what they will have previously said. :+1:

Used Cyberlink Power Director 365 for about 3 years. It’s about Ā£79 a year. Very easy to use, regular updates with new stuff, music, titles, transitions etc.

One of the best editing programs out there. I’ve got the studio version but the free version has an awful lot of features for Ā£0! It’s a bit of a learning curve but well worth putting in the effort :+1:

I’ve been watching videos today on it, looks very capable.

Lumafusion has definitely been great for iPad but reckon when I get a new MacBook Pro I’ll convert across to this instead of FCPX

Totally agree - for anyone with an iPad, Lumafusion is great investment :+1: - its the option I use most in fact :+1: :+1: :+1:

DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro?

Especially for a novice.
