Which video editing software

I use Final Cut Pro but really if you are an Apple user then iMovie which comes as a freebie does a brilliant job. I find Adobe pricey and cumbersome on Apple hardware.

Thank you for all your responses and help.
I will be able to try to do some editing once I think I have decent enough footage.

Gerry.

Just had a quick look at this and although the differences from NLVEs I’ve used previously tripped me up a little, it seems like a good, capable solution.

Adobe premier Pro does a good job. However, if you want further advanced colour grading Davinci Resolve is pretty good.

What’s the best free app that anyone can recommend

Moved your post to this thread that has the complete gamut of advice.

The question as you pose it is impossible to answer …
App? Mobile? iOS/Android?
Or for a computer? Windows/Mac, power of you computer?
etc

Plenty of research material above.:+1:

Oh sorry I should of put for iPhone thanks for the link :ok_hand:

iMovie

I just used that one I can’t add my own music from my iTunes saying it’s not supported format or something, just wanted something I could create before posting on social media seems a bit of a nightmare creating a video direct on social media

Which Social Media ?

Facebook every time I added music to it, it wouldn’t save unless there was an issue the day I was trying it maybe. Be nice to edit and add music to the video before I post it. But looking everywhere that seems the only option to add/edit direct

Give this a go, it’s free nothing to lose

VN is imo by far the best free video editing app going.

Thanks for the help.

Gerry.

All, bit new to this, so apologies if it is a bit obvious. I want to edit videos from my Phantom 4 on my computer and then upload them to my website www.allstretton bunkhouse.co.uk Not sure what the best software is to use, any help/suggestions appreciated.

Hi, Mike - Welcome to GADC. :+1:

Corrected the hyperlink here

Hope you don’t mind.

Not mainstream package but I use VLLO on Chromebook (Android). Lots of effects but no 60fps output yet. Good enough for my needs and constantly being added to.

What are you using? Windows/Mac/Other? Budget price wise prepared to spend? Happy with subscription based or prefer one off payment? Want only free?

There’s all sorts of options. Hopefully the previous 259 posts will give you a good starting point for the firm favourites. VN is a new kid on the block that is free also, and very good. For the full works Davinci Resolve is free but ensure your computer can handle it.
