Back pack, rucksack, hard case and soft-case recommendations

Finally bought my dream rucksack, when I say finally about 2 months ago.
LOWEPRO 500

Big enough for most of the kit I could need on a walk. Tried a lot of cheap bags over the years but the quality of this just shines.

It will be great when I finally get out on the moors to try it. I’m fed up of wearing it in the house pretending!

I’ve had one on these for a couple of years now, paid about £30 it, excellent bag.

I have too many bags

I have gone through sooo many bags from cheap Hama bags to knock off Lowepro from eBay.
Best bag in terms of protection was a Salamon, only ever seen them advertised once, but I just couldn’t wear it comfortably. The knock off Lowepro flipside 400 convinced me the idea was right but I wanted a bag to carry the Sigma and a couple of bodies (cameras not deceased relatives!).

Still love a small Lowepro ‘bumbag type’ bag for carrying the body and a couple of small lenses.
Yes, the 500 was pricey but when 10 miles out on a walk I want it to be
a) Comfortable
b) Protective

Plus the Missus was out when it arrived and I got away with it!

Morning folks…

Thought I’d show one of the new Nanuk Cases that arrived for my Mini 2. Great bit of kit to give you that extra protection than you’d get with the standard DJI carry bag.

Waiting on the other Nanuk case arriving for the Air 2… both purchased from Amazon.

(Yes, orange is my favourite colour):rofl::tangerine::tangerine:

Nice bit of kit, Gary :+1:

Do you have the link, it may help others.

P.S. your Mrs’ roses have lasted longer than mine. I knew I shouldn’t have bought them from the petrol station

So I’ve just worked out that I need a safe way to carry around my DJI FPV drone, and possibly other drones later. What do you use? I’m thinking backpack as I’m mostly riding around on my bicycle. I also have a mini 2, and am planning to buy at least one (ha!) more conventional FPV drone.

@BasculethiTellur scroll up for more recommendations than you can shake a stick at.

And for the DJI FPV, this will take some beating:

TYVM! And sorry I didn’t think to search. Silly me. Off to do my first flight a little later on.

I have purchased one of these.
Let you know what it’s like when it arrives

I have a very public love affair with GPC cases.

Lol so do I

But looking for a rucksack that I can get the FPV and the M2 and MA2 in.

That’s going to be a VERY LARGE backpack IMO. Maybe in the Lowepro Drone Guard BP 400? That’s the one I’ve been looking at as it seems to have enough room for FPV and Mini 2.

I have my M2, MA2 and Beta95X V3 (including DJI FPV goggles + 3 controllers) and all accessories in my Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW II. I tried the 350 first, wasn’t big enough. The 450 fits 3 quads/drones and their gear nicely.

Link here to the bag on Amazon.

P.S. bought in Jan, never left the house :pensive:

It’s a lot of dough (for a Welshman at least  ), but fair do’s, it is rock solid and the quality is top notch :ok_hand:t2:
