DJI Mini 3 Pro firmware updates

Designed in as part of all the mavic range.
Prevents people accidentally taking off in sport and flying it into the nearest tree etc.

Also, its ever getting waypoints. Previous air models didnt so this wont.

Waypoints will only come via virtual sticks if the SDK ever comes out.

Finally. Lets hope Litchi, Drone Deploy etc are ready to go

Can we keep this thread for the Mini 3 Pro Firmware, please.

Discussion on the SDK, and its recent release, is in DJI SDK for Mini 3 / Pro released.

Thanks

Did the latest updates this morning and noticed that they are now compatible. That came out of the blue.
Intrigued to try it but not sure its going to beneficial for a non FPV drone.

Can’t wait to give it a go (have an avata too + motion controller 2 just arrived so it will be very interesting).

Will this let the Mini 3 Pro use Goggles V2?

Yes, according to the DJI site they are compatible with the following…

DJI Avata
DJI Mavic 3 Classic
DJI Mavic 3
DJI Mavic 3 Cine
DJI Mavic 3 Pro
DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine
DJI Mini 3 Pro

But I believe they have to be used in conjunction with the Motion Controller 2 (not sure about the original MC)

Yes, that’s another reason why I bought one!

Awaiting YouTube to approve my streaming channel request and then I’ll see if I can get the N1 to stream with an iPad (hotspotting to my phone)

Now that’s what I call an update:grin::grin::grin:. Like a dog with 2 dicks now :crazy_face:.

Saying that, after all my initial jubilation, you’ll obviously lose all focus track, spotlight and what not won’t you. Unless they’ve worked it into the menu system and you use the wheel.:thinking:

I guess it’ll just have to be a novelty flying it for a bit with the goggles and Mot. 2, that’s good enough I suppose :+1:
