Does the DJI Mini 3 Pro extended (Plus) battery work in the UK?

I ordered this one it took exactly 30 days, it’s a fantastic battery, extra time more enjoyment.

Only thing I find with the seller one minute cannot deliver to UK next day they can it’s temperamental

Hi
I am going to dubai in 2 months do you know how much they are?
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris
Depends on the exchange rate at the time obviously.
I bought mine in “Jumbo AE” and it cost me 1000 dhirams, which at the current rate is about £240.
They are available at most electronics stores in Dubai.

Got the extended battery today 3850mAh, ordered from Aliexpress on 27/12/22

I was surprised that there is no notification in the app when flying that the larger battery is being used, seeing that it will tell you when you have the Wide angle lens fitted and the prop guards (I Suspect)

And why have DJI gone to the trouble and cost to have the UKCA marking when it’s still not sold in the UK?

Why it’s not sold still beggars belief :scream: :scream:

I guess it does in as much as the time left on the battery is higher.

A company would probably register a part in all countries as a matter of course.

Question to those who have used the plus battery;

Did you find it improved the stability of the M3P, with the bigger weight and therefore inertia?

If it did… Has anyone added extra weight for the same effect? (Subject A2 etc.)

Thanks

The M3P is a very stable drone, and using the plus battery for me made no difference

Can’t say I have ever had a current overflow error with the plus battery that @ianinlondon experienced. I have two of them.

I have probably flown 40km plus with them.

Whether it makes much difference in wind, I don’t know as I haven’t compared.

This is a second ‘Plus’ battery after the last one met a molten end in some lava somewhere  I have often got the current overload message when flying in Sport mode in strong winds on both batteries; maybe I’m a bit of a hoon…

Have flow my plus battery in 12 gusting 14 m/s without any issues at all. In the gusts the drone certainly wasn’t making any speedy headway either so definitely pushing it.
