We’ve rolled out some minor updates to Drone Scene today:
Good 2 Go
-
If you select a UK2 or a C2 drone and you have a A2 CofC then we add a bullet point line on the
/resultscreen to remind you that you can fly at 5m from uninvolved people (in the horizontal) -
Added a popup modal that explains what a Class Mark is and where you might find it on your drone
Map
-
Remember your last map position
– Requested by @AeroJ
– Drone Scene will now remember your last map position and zoom level so when you re-visit Drone Scene you can pick up exactly where you left off -
Map layers now load new data before removing existing data
– Requested by multiple members
– Previously, moving around the Drone Scene map would clear some layer data before the new layer data had fully loaded, causing some objects to disappear then reappear a second or two later
– Layer data now extends as you move around the map – No more flashing layers -
Condensed all the
Fetching map data...messages in to a single message
– This reduces the visual distraction of several notifications appearing at the same time -
Fixed the alignment of some map buttons on mobile devices
– Some button icons on mobile devices were off-centre
Forum
- If you’ve added yourself to the Members Map, your area and region is now shown on your forum profile, with a link to view it on the Members Map
