Only just clocked the speed!
Good Lord!
Just watching. Drones dropping grenades/bombs/incendiaries on Russian tanks.
3D printing to make their own devices.
Brilliant stuff.
Love how the drone pilots are guiding the morters in
Amazing how a “collection of predominantly civilians from other walks of live”, together with drones, phones, tablets, domestic windows computers and google Earth, is holding Russia at bay.
Goodness I want Ukraine to win!
We would be the same, GADC warfare unit
Just watching on Eurosport the Austrian downhill they are using FPV drones to keep up with the video feeds when the skiers are at 110 km/h you can hear the scream of the FPV. They are keeping up with the skiers
Drone just lost the race skier was pulling away @ 143km/h
Moved your posts to this catch-all thread.
They’ve been using drones for a few seasons. I think I’ve posted some somewhere above.
The pilots have certainly improved over that time.
I have a friend who’s currently in Kitzbuhle, and I’ve tasked him with finding out how many they are using to maintain coverage - and hopefully some pics of one.
This almost disaster for my favourite skier was definitely best captured by the drone.
back on again tomorrow
Will be watching on catch-up … friend’s birthday piss-up in London tomorrow.
Not missed a FIS WC Mens’ event in over 8 years … even if a few were via catch-up.
Ahhh so is that what the big meet is for, combat training…
blinks innocently…
just wish i could ski again metal work stops me. very sad face
Just poverty prevents me these days.
I might catch the beginning whilst on the train to London, tomorrow, if the diversion delays take longer than they should. (“if” probably should be “when”)
