Hi everyone,
Found the forum this morning and looks great. New Mavic Mini owner although it was only delivered a couple of days ago having pre-ordered on the day of release. I’ve had to be very patient!
Flown a few drones but couldn’t resist the new Mavic Mini as I do alot of videoing with the family and also volunteer for a Search & Rescue team for which this little drone could be great.
I live opposite Mitcham Common and I see from the map there’s a few other members who are local.

I lived in Mitcham about 20yrs ago, up by Figgs Marsh. I’m slightly further north now though.

The search functions here are an efficient way to find previous threads and posts that might already have covered topics in which you are interested in learning more or answer that niggling question but, when this doesn’t turn up what you’re after, there’s a wealth of knowledge amongst the members, so ask away over on #questions-and-answers
Also, if you’ve not seen it, check out our map of places where members have flown in the past and, as always, any pilot needs to check that everything’s OK before flying at any of them - just in case!

Have fun flying the new drone! South London looks like a neat place to explore with Croydon and other areas not part of the no-fly zone.
When the weather is nicer, definitely would be up for joining a meet-up to fly.
