Yes, it’s the top one of the three circles that looks similar to the DJI NFZ. I don’t know why but the DJI one had no info. Its just an NFZ in the database and I have no idea whether its related to the G7 CAA NFZ or not. I don’t see why DJI would ever include temp NFZs into their update database. Unless people have downloaded the database it would not have any effect. And besides a few days later the database would have to be updated again to release the lock. Its illogical to my way of thinking. Surely they would only include locked areas that were permanent restrictions with the option of unlocks when and where necessary. The database would be a total mess if they started adding temp restrictions all the time.
Anyway I will take the bird and see if I can fly it Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and then pack it in for the rest of the week.
I’ve had another detailed ganders at the DJI Geo Zone Map compared with the temp NATS FRZ for the G7 and the circles are the same radii so it does look like DJI have added the G7 temp NFZ into their database after all. I haven’t updated the fly database for a few months so I’m guessing I’ll be ok for the Sunday through to Wednesday which will probably give me enough time to get the shots I’m after.
G7 Flight Restriction Zones have been published - most of Cornwall will be off limits from the 9th to 13th June
Looks like the old fairground challenge where you have to cover a shape with 3 circles. Well done, they’ve won a teddy bear.

I would be interested to know what this one is about, if it is someone on here etc. Looks like a sort of club activity or practical type event. Although having 20 UAS in the air at a time if reading correct could mean close scrutiny of frequencies.

Normally if it’s that many drones it will be a presentation type thing, but 20 also doesn’t seem like that many when you consider how many were used at London New Years?
I have no idea how many were used at London New year? I will admit to only being interested in drones since I bought a toy one and found out how much bad press they seem to get. So seeing a swam of them could be interesting for me.
The location is not a million miles from me so I may just pop in the car for a look see?
Adrian
Around 300 if I remember right, but they are all pre programmed , imagine the chaos having 300 of them trying to navigate to exact position. Similiar to the big meet this coming weekend
Definitely worth driving around and having a nose, could be as part of a film, although I think they normally put up FRZ for that
Well to be honest I am confused as I have been to googlemaps and found the Lat and Long for the location pinned to be 53.818307, -1.977626 and not 534906N 0015836W or as I am reading it as 53.4906 and -1.5836. Please let me know if I am taking these reading incorrectly?

We left the 70’s a few years back when you had to fly a pennant on your aerial to prevent frequency clashes. The digital age allows for goodness knows how many on the same frequency … and since all DJI drones are on one of two frequencies, that’s a rather good thing.
Check out Choreographed Drone Light Shows - General Thread to see how many drones can populate the same, small, space without a problem.
Well I suppose there are 13 UK frequencies at 2.4GHz and 24 on 5 GHz frequencies. Although I tend to think of them as just being used by Wi-fi systems which tends to use more than a single channel many times taking 4 channels at a time as required by the band width, yes they use multiplexing systems so in theory it allows for multiple users on the same channel.
I will have a look at the thread mentioned… guess it will be similar to the China show where they started to fall!.
