Hi everybody!
I’m Andrea and i’m from italy. in the next weeks i’m in london with my family and i would like to take some shot with my drone (mini 2). i’m yet registered as id flyer and id operator for uk.
I’d like to know some legal spot where i can take some shot on the east side of Tower Bridge, if permission is not required.
Thank’s in advance

I’m from Arezzo, a small city in Tuscany near Florence.
I use drones for work (i’m a loss adjuster) and for hobby.
I wonder how clear and simple are the rules and tests of CAA for the drones than EASA.
Buongiorno @balocecco Andrea, we stayed in Arezzo at the Hotel Minerva 3 years ago. Had a wonderful 3 days travelling around Tusconi and visiting Florence whilst on holiday before we went onto Rome.
Sadly I didn’t own a drone then, would have been a superb place to fly. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful part of Italy.
The CAA rules are based on EASA Regs and are a little easier I’d say.
hi guys, I just returned from my trip to London and thanks to your directions I managed to take some shots from the east side of Tower Bridge, starting from a small park marked as a TOAL point. Unfortunately, as soon as I took off, my drone gave a “gimball stuck” error and I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the flight… but I still managed to take some photos. I’ll post two. Have a nice day and thanks for the advice (now I’ll have to think about repairing the drone!)
