I managed 10 flights from 10 different locations in the one reasonable day we had here when I wasn’t busy with other stuff - a case of making the best of the brief time available before the wind got up again

No, no - keep them coming guys!
Nothing we love more than having to rejig the poll just before close on a Saturday night, especially if the shot was taken four days previously
Well if you insist…

The old quality/quantity debate may redurface …
Is it better to have one decent image to attract votes or several images which may dilute the number of votes each gains? Should photographers be able to see the best of their work themselves or is it easier / better to allow others to chose the best from several similar examples?
Answers on one side of the screen only please.
Maybe
That
Should
Be
A
Rule,
Best
Photo
Only?
I
Prefer
Just
The
One.
Does that get me 2 dronescene bonus votes?
Possibly limit on number of entries for each challenge. That way the best image should be posted.
I think, allowing as many posts as they want, but they have to choose which post is the entry … just like the Weekly Edit. I.e. if the poster has posted multiple, but hasn’t specified which one to enter, the latest one will be deemed their entry. Seems logical and fair to me. But, as always, I will go with the flow
We live in the hope that this competition will be self moderating. We also feel that the debate between the sawn-off and the sniper rifle approach to competition entry will never be satisfactorily resolved.
◦ Location: Knap Hill, Pewsey Downs, North Wessex AONB
◦ Time and date: 08/01/2022 @ 1.46pm
◦ Aircraft/camera used: Mavic 2 Pro

Looking out from Knap Hill, a 5,700 year old fortification, and towards the end of the North Wessex AONB and the start of Salisbury Plain. The epicentre of Britain’s finest Neolithic sites.
P.S. if I have to choose one entry, I prefer this one, thanks
Maybe one “best” photo is easiest? While we’re talking about the way the comp works….how strictly do people feel we should interpret the title that is selected when we vote?
Personal interpretation is part of the fun for sure but will landscapes include built up/industrial/urban settings/ seascapes/ skyscapes etc?
Sometimes there’s not much wriggle room. If for arguments sake windmills is the next one it’d be a bit tricky to get away without a windmill in the photo…
Don’t mind, just wondering
