Still the same to be honest. Had to use the un-inverted pad to TX1. Couldn’t get anything to work using SBUS pad and inversion on in CLI.
It’s working but obviously can’t get any telemetry like I would have set up Fport or SBUS+SPort.
Forgot how confusing these bloody things can be.

Just fitted a shark byte vtx to my 5" quad, but the camera is a little too small to fit.
Looking for 10mm m2 bolts
Sorry about the mud. But it adds character

I’ve mounted the cam, but if you have a couple of 8-10mm m2 bolts when we meet this weekend, that’d be sweet

My toothpick had a motor issue. So tonight I replaced the motor.
The old motor had spat a wire at the bell:
As I’d got it on the bench I’ve also fitted some more aggressive props to try and increase the speed current fastest speed that I’ve achieved so far is 52mph.
Hopefully should get a bit more thrust from the higher pitch props I’ve just fitted
Successful hover test in my living room and Thunder Bug will live to fly another day

… my Source One quad, for repair, following a little fire after ‘hard landing’
it got it’s power from an AIO FC which fortunately did not suffer any damage. Also motor windings all good, so could have been worse
