The poor PID Loop won’t know what’s hit it
To be fair it says in the comp rules it has to fly, not that it has to fly well
I know what I’m building next but it won’t be for a while and will be a bit of a Frankensteins Monster built out of odds and sods
because vista’s are out of stock?
No because I’m waiting for the 1W HDZero vtx
JB did another review today of the two systems. Basically slating hdzero again
Really? What’s he said? I’ve not seen it but I thought he was coming around to HDZero now
Comparing the digisight v3 vs Apollo. Dji has one firmly planted up his arse.
DJI FOR THE WIN! @SirGunner will back me up
I’ve still not tried my V3, to be honest I’m happy with my HDZero Micro cam.
I’ve still not flown it yet Hopefully this weekend but I’ve gotta figure out how I’m going to fit the Tracer Immortal T antennas to my Evoque lol
iFlight Titan DC5 with a deadish FC ( SucceX-A F4/40A BLHeliS true AIO )
Plug the battery in and it plays the first 3 notes then stops, won’t arm, no OSD, and plugging it into Betaflight results in a USB port error on my PC as it’s trying to pull more current than the USB port can supply
Got a short somewhere?
Nothing obvious - no glowing wires, smoke, flames, screaming people running out of the building etc.
Checked back to its previous flight at the beginning of November, and it did have a bit of a crash - though the beeper still worked and everything seemed OK when I tested it afterwards
Yeah I’d agree. Air unit ordering time soon, we’ll either that or an evoke hd
Fixed it - short in the connections for the GPS module. Of course I only found it AFTER ordering a replacement
Atleast it’s a cheap fix and now you have a spare gps
Spare FC stack actually - together with my spare DJI Air Unit I may be gradually edging towards building another drone…
I’ve just got an Evoque Howard, nice looking bit of kit. Not flown it yet but one thing I will say is it feels heavy (got 6mm arms plus chunky side covers). I’ll let you know how it flies when I’ve taken it for a maiden
Definitely sounds like a new build is on the cards
