Yes indeed. I went to a whoop race on Sunday and the whole lap timing thing intrigued me. Then when JB mentioned this system I looked and found I had a good portion of the components already.

Just 3d printing a prototype frame for some titanium arms I have. When I get it right, I’ll get them cut into 2mm carbon fibre.

What are you going to print them with? PETG or ABS ?
As its a prototype for fitting purposes, its some low quality pla I have. I see no point in flying a quad with metal arms and a plastic body

It will be the same size as my old one. A 210mm frame, 5" props.
The Frantic Flapper could be an unusual entry into the Wacky and Weird drone build comp. I wonder if it would be possible to make it fly?
