The Daily Photo Thread

My Mavic 2 Pro has been out of action for about 6 weeks due to an arm injury.

After the argument with a 60 foot conifer.

The rear right arm socket had sheered, which meant desoldering the motor and LED wires, reinstalling the bits and resoldering.

Anyway, I took her out this evening to give it a proper test. All good. And I must say, what a cracking bit of kit it is. The Mini 3 Pro is certainly becoming my #1 drone, but it still can’t beat the Mavic 2 Pro on image quality.

Whilst there, to celebrate my new ‘Long Haul Flyer 1,000km badge’, I had some fun with Litchi

I planned the flight in Virtual Litchi Mission:

I previewed it in Google Earth KML:

And this is the result in Airdata:

A lot of fun

That’s genius  :bowing_man:t2:

It has been done before … a long time ago - albeit without the 3D render.

Thanks Allan :+1:

@Drumsagard. As ever John lovely photos. :+1: I recall visiting that jetty many times whilst visiting Faslane. The last time I nearly ended up in the loch after slipping on a combination of early morning frost on a wet wooden jetty! Was gratefully saved from an unscheduled dip by my colleague! Loved Luss but wouldn’t want to live there… like being in a goldfish bowl.

Cheers Colin :+1: Yeah had a few slips myself on the pier during photo-shoots, nearly lost a groom once

A few from the firework world championship rounds in Blackpool, team was Fireworks Factory from Finland.

Taken with the Mini 3, no processing and on auto settings.

Ventured out yesterday evening as well as this evening so double post for me.

images were all taken on the Mini Pro 3 and were 5 Auto Exposure Bracketed images combined in Lightroom and then colour graded in Lightroom also.

First 2 images were captured yesterday at the Chatterley Whitfield Colliery in Staffordshire (you can find it on Drone Scene)

The last few images were captured this evening at Soloman’s Temple near Buxton.

35? That’s a strange number/combination?

I will have to count them again
